The blurring works really well here, the render seems like hes glowing he sticks out so much. I think the text could be blended a little bit better and maybe have a clipping mask over it with some effects to spice it up. Otherwise good work. The lighting texture layer over the brown seems to frame the player,accentuating him which is nice.I like how the player was rendered,it's super bold and stands out very well. The white shine to his hair is pretty nice.It looks like a video I just saw on YouTube of some woman with a real bad case of lice,and she thought it was dandruff.Fucking gross. I agree with Kes, the text although decent could be spiced up some.Maybe a touch more contrast or brightness to make it pop more. Looks professional your sig.
