What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas?

Sin City is aptly named. It's impossible to walk down the Strip without seeing an abundance of casinos or ads for 'high end' hookers. An eighteen year old kid, fresh out of high school, dropped right into this mess... Well that's a recipe for trouble.

Matthew Clyne, one of the newest members of the Las Vegas Aces, was suspiciously absent on the ice during his first few games with the team. In six games he only had ten shots on the net without a single goal. In four out of those six games he only took one shot.

For a second line winger that production was seriously lacking.  In his seventh game, Clyne managed to score a goal and his production has increased and stablized since then.

So what happened those first few games?  Did Clyne simply need time to adjust to a more competitive league, or did he succumb, albiet temporarily, to one of Vegas' many less than ideal past times? Clyne has been spotted at less-than-reputable casinos various times, this leads us to believe that he may have been focusing more on booze, gambling and girls than actually contributing to his team.

As the phrase goes, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. We may never know what actually happened, but hopefully Clyne has managed to get his head in the game and will leave the fun and wild parties to the off season.
