The young Ay Ay Ron spent countless hours on the ice, honing his talents as a skater, shooter and passer. As a result, Ay Ay Ron often played in leagues that catered to older boys. The age and size differences between Ay Ay Ron and his competition mattered little. In his final year of peewee hockey, he scored an improbable 120 goals.

By the time he was a teenager, Ay Ay Ron was making waves across Canada with his play. He was selected third in the 2008 Ontario Major Junior Hockey League Midget draft, and displayed his impressive skills that season. Eager to turn professional but barred from leaping to the VHL because of the league's age restrictions, Ay Ay Ron signed with the Las Vegas Aces of the Victory Hockey League Minor. Freshly arrived in the VHLM, led by the controversial Robbie Zimmer, the Aces established themselves as a powerhouse and was feared but his opponent due to their skill and size. The team’s domination was confirmed after they won the Founder’s cup against the Saskatoon Wild. It would have been the only season in charge of the team for Robbie Zimmer, has he been fired by the league commissioners after a series of public display of alcoholic and drug abuse. The team is now managed by YEAH! Player’s agency. His VHLM right weren’t in Vegas’ hand anymore, and Ron were eligible for the VHLM Dispersal Draft.
Ron was selected 11th oa by the Saskatoon Wild, in the 3rd round, and was a steal at that rank for the Canadian organization. Even seemly unknow by other GM’s, a familiar face knew what they were getting at 11th. Thomas “Corco” Corcoran knew the player agent “boubabi” before the draft, and he was ensured that the young D would be extraordinaire for the franchise. Promises have been delivered. n the fall of S55, Ay Ay Ron embarked on his first full VHLM season. As he had at every other level, he quickly started to dominate the competition, racking up an astonishing 30 goals and 73 assists, With those numbers, he finished 6th in league scoring, and 2nd for a defenseman, behind VHLM veteran Nicodemus Raven.

Playoff were even more remarkable as he played top line minutes against enemies’ best offensive line, and still scored an impressive 18 points in 10 games. His teammate, and eventually 1st oa pick in the S55 VHL Entry Draft Gabriel McAllister, finished above him with and 21 points totals. Those 2 players where the firepower of that franchise and climbed their way through the playoffs to eventually win the cup, a 2nd for Ay Ay Ron.

After his 2nd season in the VHLM, Ay Ay Ron was finally eligible for the VHL Entry Draft. The race for 1st oa was possible at the start of the season, but his teammate, Gabriel McAllister really step up his game during the season and showed a great consistency in his game. For those reasons, even before the draft night, the holder of the first overall pick announced that the Saskatoon center will be first oa. If the destination of McAllister was a done deal, 2nd oa had a lot of people interested. Often referred as a “2 men draft” 2nd overall pick was made available by the Cologne Express; has they saw the possibility to gain more assets for the pick than the pick itself. Multiple offers on the table, a surprising Helsinki Titans made a big push to acquire the pick. Player agent, boubabi, had a brief discussion with both GMs, and had an idea what was going on. If the first offer made from Helsinki weren’t high enough, their 2nd offer let no other choice for the Cologne’s GM, Rudy Ying, to accept. A total of four 1st round picks where discussed, and it’s finally 3 1st round selection that made the deal happen. The GM even decided to have one of his player from his agency to join the Titans as an effort to close the deal. At draft night, cellphones were still ringing for player’s agent boubabi, but the ship has sail, and the Titans made their choice at 2nd overall. Ay Ay Ron will now wear a blue and white jersey for his VHL debut.
