The HC Davos Dynamo selected Pekka Jarmuth with the 2nd round pick, 16th overall in the Season 18 VHL Entry Draft. However, this pick originally belonged to the Seattle Bears who traded this pick to the New York Americans before New York traded this pick to the Dynamo. Seattle traded the pick straight up for Tuvia Bielski. New York then traded the pick with Janelle Henley to Davos for Fayt Leingod.

Pekka started his career with the Dynamo and bypassed another season in the VHLM. In 72 games, Pekka scored 10 goals and assisted on 29 goals for 39 points. It wasn't a mind blowing total but he provided the Dynamo with some nice depth. The Dynamo feel 13 points short of the playoffs in Season 18.

In the offseason, the Dynamo traded Pekka Jarmuth and a Season 20 Calgary 2nd (Jake Woods) to the Madrid Thunder for Anton Brekker. Brekker turned out to be a huge piece in the Dynamo dynasty. Jarmuth on the other hand put up a very good season in Madrid. Pekka scored 39 goals and assisted on 50 goals for 89 points. This looked to be a even trade so far as Pekka is showing just as much potential at this point. Madrid finished last in the entire VHL though with just 24 points which was 76 points out of a playoff spot.

During Season 20, Madrid continued to sell off as they wanted to tank. So Pekka was traded for technically the 4th time in his career (2 if you want to count after he was drafted). Pekka was traded to the Helsinki Titans for a Season 21 Helsinki 2nd (Yan Feng) and it didn't look very good at all after the trade because Pekka scored 30 goals and assisted on 60 goals for 90 points on the season. It was a career high by 1 point and in the past two season he had scored 179 points. Pekka was on his way to stardom it seemed. Helsinki finished 34 points behind the Riga Reign for the last playoff spot in the European Conference.

In Season 21, Pekka regressed just a little bit with 20 goals and 47 assists for 67 points. It was just under a point per game and he was still a nice center to have although it seems as if he was not the 1C you expect. He is more like a solid 2C. The Titans on the other hand finished with 86 points which tied them with Davos for the last playoff spot but due to Davos having more regulation wins, they made the playoffs.

Season 22 came along and Pekka regressed even further to 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points. He definitely was more of a 2C now who provided nice scoring depth on you team. The Titans made the playoffs with 99 points which was enough to lead the Conference. In the playoffs, The Titans would play the Dynamo in the first round. After 7 hard fought games, the Titans would move on and play the Toronto Legion in the finals. After 6 games, the Titans were crowned Champions for the first time since Season 15. Pekka scored 6 goals and assisted on 6 goals for 12 points. It was a very good playoff showing for Pekka who provided nice scoring.

In Season 23, Pekka seemed to plateau at 20 goals and 25 assists for 45 points. He was a center who scored 40 points from your 2nd line. The Titans fell to 2nd in the conference with 107 points which was 4 points back of the leading Dynamo. However it was the Titans who would cause a minor upset with a 6 game series win over the Dynamo in the playoffs. In the finals, the Titans would take the Wranglers to 7 games but ultimately lose. Pekka had just 4 assists for 4 points and was not providing nice scoring depth at all.

Pekka just kept falling in the point totals, this time to 9 goals and 24 assists for 33 points. The Titans though, just kept trucking along with 101 points, good enough for a playoff spot. The Titans were looking to make it 3 straight final appearances to go with their 3 straight playoff appearances. However in just 5 quick games, the Titans lost to Davos. Pekka had only 1 assist for 1 point. It was a disappointing end to a decent season.

Coming into Season number 8, Pekka's 6th with the Dynamo, Helsinki was looking for one last hurrah but the Iron Eagles were the team to make the playoffs with Davos still the team to beat. Pekka scored 20 goals and assisted on 20 goals for 40 points which was now around his career norm. The Titans missed the playoffs for the first time since Season 21 as the Iron Eagles had 26 more points than them.
