He's ready to move up and has chosen to play for the PHL Affiliated Munich Aviators instead of moving up to the VHL. Abendroth is happy to play out his final season in Oslo and will be hoping to bring a championship to his team before departing. Abendroth had a fairly good career with Oslo and led the team in scoring in his 2nd season in the VHLM. He's ready for something new. As of now Kai Abendroth is retiring from the VHLM.
