Claimed: How are the Dynamo doing?

Recommended Posts

The answer to that question is not very well but that is exactly where they want to be. The team has a nice core of Shawn Gretzky, Pablo and mist4ke to build around and will only look to add more with a lottery pick this off-season. The Dynamo are currently in a fight for the last spot in the league with a record of 2-9-1 which matches the Calgary Wranglers and is 1 point behind the 2-8-2 Seattle Bears. Cologne is also trying to make a run at last with a 4-8-0 record for 8 points. It should be a interesting season for the tank wars. However, let us take a look at the players on Davos and how they are doing this season.

Forwards

Elias Forsberg is the surprise of the team as he leads the team in points with 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points. He averages around 22 minutes and night and gets the easy line matchups. However it is still impressive that he is leading the team in points after 12 points. Newly drafted Shawn Gretzky is 2nd in team scoring with 5 goals and 2 assists for 7 points. Not as good as one would want but is still a nice point total as the VHL teams focus in on shutting him down. He plays 33 hard minutes a night and has won 53.37% of his 624 faceoffs. Pretty nice for a rookie. Jack Kraken is the last man on the totem pole with 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points. He provides depth and is a warm body until the Dynamo get better.

Defenseman

Pablo is the only defeseman on the roster and he is having a equally good season as his rookie counterpart Shawn Gretzky. Pablo has 7 assists on the season but is still looking for his first career VHL goal. He should find it soon enough though as a player of his caliber should be scoring plenty of goals. He also leads the team with 32 shots block. I also have to give a shoutout to DAV D2 as he has scored 2 goals and assisted on 1 goal for 3 points. Highest scoring CPU on the team. Good for him

Goaltender

mist4ke has had a very hard start to his VHL career so far as he has been on some bad Dynamo teams. He has a record of 2-9-1 with a 3.76 G.A.A and a 0.902 save percentage. It has been tough but if he keeps working it will get better as this core grows together. I believe he still has the makings of a top flight goaltender and we as a team in Davos will help him grow if he allows us. I respect whatever mist4ke decides to do.

On the farm

Rusty Trombone will come join the team next season but for now he is owning the VHLM to the tune of 17 goals and 16 assists for 33 points in just 12 games. His Las Vegas Aces are 12-0-0 right now and are in total control of their own destiny. Takashi Fujimoto is another player who will join next season and he also plays for the Aces. Fuji has scored 11 goals and assisted on 7 for 16 points in 12 games. The future is looking bright in Swiss city of Davos. We just need to build around this great core.
