How about we incorporate the biannual World Cup within the season instead of an extended offseason every other year? This could be one game simmed a day only. More controversial than above idea, but how about like in soccer we add something like a FA Cup style knockout tournament within the regular season? This would also like above be simmed separately from the league file but run concurrent to the league season to add more drama and excitement and keep things less dry. If perhaps such tournament does come into existence, maybe we could also require backup goalies to start and play. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
