PART A

1. How many Hall of Fame Classes only had 1 player inducted? (Credit to Velevra)
ANSWER: Three. Leander Kaelin (S23), Tom Slaughter (S45), and Bruno Wolf (S46) all got in without anyone else getting enough votes.

 

2. Which two members are the only ones to have their players jerseys retired by three different franchises? (Credit to Kendrick)
ANSWER: @Knight @Kendrick Knight has been retired by Hamilton (David Night), Toronto (David Henman), and Davos (David Smalling). Kendrick has been retired by Riga (Torsten Schwarz), Helsinki (Jakob Kjeldsen), and Cologne (Kameron Taylor).

 

3. How many times has the Scotty Campbell Trophy been awarded to a player that did not make the playoffs? (Credit to Streetlight)
ANSWER: Twice. Zach Arce in S12 and Pavel Koradek in S25 played on the fifth-best teams in the league but such was their importance and dominance compared to the rest of the competition that they were crowned league MVP anyway. Usually making the playoffs is the #1 criteria to be considered.

 

4. In which season did a team win the Continental Cup without facing a team from the opposing conference in the playoffs, and what was the team? (Credit to der meister)
ANSWER: S28 Seattle in the first of 3 years of cross-over won it by beating Calgary and then New York, with Davos losing to NY in the first round.

Who had the third most penalty minutes in S13 and how many?

Noah Lefevre with 251 hits makes it onto the list as third most in S13... although he will fall off the list this season after Simon Valmount's exploits.
