After an absolute disaster of a career, goaltender Bernie Gow is now living the retired life. After earning enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life. Bernie is living a life of comfort, eating what he pleases and doing just about nothing every day. Sometimes it's watching TV, sometimes it's playing video games, and sometimes it's just sleeping. Either way, Bernie is now able to be the lazy person that he really is since he no longer has to train or have any of the responsibilities that come with being a professional hockey player. He may be the Michael Leighton of the VHL, but at the end of the day, he can at least tell himself that he made it farther than 99% of people do.
