Riga Update

The Finals are well underway between two teams that don’t seem to have too much public support, but still… go, Vikings!

 

With that out of the way, let’s move on to things that you all seriously care about! To update you all on the going ons of your favourite Reign, there are discussions underway to see where players will end up as the team looks to rebuild for S50 or somewhere around then.

 

The biggest piece that Riga could possibly use for a solid return would have to be Bronson Faux. Faux, who comes from Jamie’s player agency has built such a reputation with the Riga franchise, that it made perfect sense to include a no movement clause when Faux re-signed with the team. 

 

Now, it may cause some issues. With heavy interest in the physical center a deal was nearly finalized until it was blocked by Faux’s NMC. Clearly Faux would not want to leave the team that has meant so much to his player agency and for his career, but how will Faux perform with no team around him? Will Riga be able to launch a rebuild without moving Faux, who is arguably their one asset that could draw a solid return?

 

Time will tell, but it’s not looking good.
