Question A in its 7 different iterations: 1. Name 3 players who won the Continental Cup in their rookie season (Credit to Mr. Power). ANSWER: Numerous including Jardy Bunclewirth, Dominik Stryker, Skylar Rift, and most recently Pablo Escabar. Easiest way to find would be to look at recent indexes. Alternatively, draft threads feature cup wins. 2. Name a GM who won multiple Founder's Cups. (Credit to diamond_ace) ANSWER: The Ken Holland Trophy was won multiple times by Jason Glasser, both Gows, Vince Wong and Jack Reilly, after whom the trophy is now named. 3. Name the two players to win three Continental Cups in the VHL's first five seasons (Credit to Smarch). ANSWER: Tommy Brown and Scotty Campbell Tommy Brown, now known as Smarch, won the first three, while the great Scotty Campbell won the first, the fourth, the fifth, and then the sixth. 4. Who was the captain of S17 Seattle Bears and what season was he drafted in? (Credit to DollarAndADream) ANSWER: Emerson Hrynyk, that season's top defenceman and the second overall pick in Season 14. 5. Which franchise has won the Continental Cup the most times (Credit to Phil)? ANSWER: The HC Davos Dynamo. They've won 8 in Davos, already good for first, plus one before they moved from Avangard. 6. Name an Aidan Shaw Trophy winner who missed the playoffs. (Credit to Green) ANSWER: The two options were Maxim Desny in S2 and then Remy LeBeau in S34. 7. How many playoff games in total has the VHLM's Brampton franchise (Battalion/Blades) lost in their seven cup-winning seasons? (Credit to NUCK) ANSWER: 24 I didn't know the answer to this evil question but thankfully all people who replied gave the same number which I assume is correct. Question B was the same for all 7: Which team, in what season, won the Continental Cup in the fewest games? ANSWER: The S19 Calgary Wranglers got eight wins from just nine games. Answer easily found by looking into the Continental Cup thread, where you can see Toronto was beaten in five and then Davos swept in the finals. Matt, Zero, Jardy, and myself approve.
