As such, this season I will be upping the ante in ther form of increased prizes. First and foremost, during this drive, any and all recruitment related rewards will be doubled. So if you recruit someone during this month, you will be entitled to double points for any achievements they make. Linking us on another forum you post on (http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/6334-do-you-post-on-other-forums/) will earn you two TPE for this month. Any member who recruits someone during the drive will be entered to win: 1) A copy of NHL '15 for any system of your choice or cash value of the game. 2) Free Double's week 3) Double's week 4) 5 TPE 5) 3 TPE 6) 3,000,000 player store cash 7) 1 TPE + 1,000,000 player store cash I will also be giving 1 TPE to anyone who can give me a good recruiting idea. During this month, I've also decided that any new member will receive $3,000,000 in player store cash to use on their player immediately after they create. I'll also pay for people who go out of their way to recruit on other forums. Now hopefully we can reach that goal of 20 new members. A lot of the time, instructions are thrown to new visitors and without a full grasp of the site, it leads to more confusion. Video Starts: "Hi, my name is Sterling. This is the VHL. This is what it's about. This is how you create a player. This is how you can update your player stats with the use of TPE for Media Spots/GFX. Any questions, send them my way. Every new player is now in a draft class where he has to compete with a whole bunch of 100 TPE players, some of whom got months of development on them that they'll never be able to make up for. Why not have this at the deadline or in the off-season, when we are approaching the VHLM-draft? The recruitment drive in itself is obviously a good thing though . Just to make it clear though, recruiting alone doesn't give you a TPE-bonus or anything, right, it's just the milestones like 100 TPE and such? There usually is more than a month between the deadline and the start of the new season so there should be plenty of time to have our next recruitment drive somewhere during that timeframe. But it's only a suggestion, just wondered why we were putting such an effort into recruiting just to have our new members start with a pretty big disadvantage. Doing the recruitment drive during playoffs and off-season would make no sense. The new players would have to wait a long long time before they get to play. I think this is a great time personally. It's the summer and people have more time. That was the original plan, to have it kind of coincide with the release of the game that will be given away. Not really, I just don't like being told "It is like it is, deal with it" without any reasoning provided. If we want to keep improving this league we should always look for ways to make existing rules and procedures better and one way to do this is to keep asking questions and exchange opinions, that's all I'm trying to do. Kendrick did a recruitment on reddit maybe 2 seasons ago right before the playoffs and he did a great job of getting a bunch of guys here, but it was hard to keep them active since rosters were already set and they had nothing to do for 3 weeks or so. Pretty good! Once this is graded you can double the reward. And also you sound a lot like Scotty. Thanks coach Any other submissions during this month will be doubled once they're graded and then we will vote to see which ones are best or if you want to make another tutorial that is different than the one coach made we can also use that.
