Salary Cap Casualty The Andrey Zadorov Career Story Andrey Zadorov’s VHL career has come to an end and he is set to officially retire after a disappointing end to the S43 play-offs. The Russian has played seven seasons in the VHL and finished with 370 career points. Andrey first entered the VHLM draft where he was selected by the Brampton Blades 9th overall. After playing his VHLM season, he was drafted 6th overall by the New York Americans in the 36 VHL Entry Draft. Zadorov was never seen as flashy offensive player and was not expected to put up huge numbers at the next level. He was drafted to become a two-way defenseman that could log big minutes and not produce high offensive numbers like most would expect out of a first round pick. His best statistical season was in S40 with the Cologne Express where he produced 77 points. Now we will take a look at all his stops in the VHL. Zadorov with the Brampton Blades in the VHLM New York Americans Zadorov began his career in New York where he was a part of a strong team in seasons 37, 38, and 39. The greatest accomplishment in his entire career came in S39 when he won a cup and became a North American Conference All-Star. He played with the amazing Connor Low who mentored Zadorov during his time in New York. In New York Zadorov’s job was to be the rock for Low when he would rush up the ice on the offensive attack. Low was an offensive juggernaut who drove the team’s offense from the back end and Andrey was expected to just continue to play his two-way game. Each season Zadorov’s point totals gradually climbed as he began to get better while playing with Low. Andrey had three great seasons in New York but was then was traded to Cologne as a salary cap casualty in a block buster trade during the S39 off-season that including sending Wesley Kellinger for draft picks along with Zadorov. Cologne Express In S40 he took off offensively with 13 goals and 64 assists for 77 points while being in the top five for total defenseman scoring. He got to watch and play with another great defenseman in Mason Richardson while on Cologne although Zadorov began on the second pairing, so he did not get to play with him the whole time. After his amazing season in S40 where he became a European Conference All-Star, he would go back to earth recording only 47 points in S41. Andrey spent two seasons being a good depth soldier for Cologne before being traded once again as a cap casualty to HC Davos Dynamo for a second round pick. Zadorov with the Cologne Express in S40 HC Davos Dynamo He spent his last two seasons in Davos with the Dynamo and was once again a good depth player. In these two seasons Zadorov would record 91 points in 144 games. He was one of the Dynamo’s top defensemen before the emergence of the young Vladamir Komarov and the acquisition of Mason Richardson. In his final season Zadorov would once again be on the same team as Mason Richardson but when he arrived he was put on the second pairing and would not produce many points. In the end Andrey Zadorov was just a good depth player who provided a solid effort defensively. He was used primarily as a top pairing defenseman in his prime that played with a star number one defenseman. His contract became a problem on team’s salary cap and was then shipped off as a result. Now the depth salary cap casualty will be gone forever and drift into the sunset in Russia.

It has come to my attention that everyone in the VHL is currently obsessed with me. As a self centered human being who cares mainly for others and not at all about himself, I find this news saddening. I want to be the ying to everyone’s bang but I just can’t. It’s not humanly possible. And now, there is a crazy craze going on around about how old I am. Well let me tell you something... I’m lactose intolerant. So if anyone would like to guess how old I actually am, feel free to give it a shot, the winner (the first person to guess my age down to the amount of months correct) gets a lil something ,something from me. In other news, how is everyone? Everyone should share how they are doing on the forum more often, we don’t have enough sexy discussion. I need five more words.

I remember my first legit penta with no help from anyone was with Morg in the mid lane. They tried ganking me but I had hourglass and close to 900 AP, with none of them really having much MR. I ulted and hourglassed, with a pool I got 3, then with CDR I had my pool and snare within 5 seconds or so, got another kill and then I had to flash and combo one more time. It was my first legitimate one.

Got my first real penta kill! With Rumble! Just teleported into teamfight mid lane, dropped the equalizer to finish three, hit another with a harpoon to finish, then turned on the last guy with the other harpoon and lit him on fire. It was very satisfying. I've been playing crazy good recently though. Eight ranked wins in a row on my match history, and not really any bad games. Overall ten ranked wins in a row.

Layla Kayleigh was on The Feed from Attack of the Show, not a huge part though. Hard to think of those girls at the moment, as it's been awhile. Perfect night out is a night in.
